With a baby, bottles quickly pile up in the cupboards. The 3 in 1 bottle takes the opposite approach: a single bottle that changes role depending on the time of day. Here are its three uses, and how to switch from one to another.
Use 1: the hands-free bottle
With its long tube and pacifier-shaped teat, the bottle can rest next to baby while your hands stay free, for example on a walk with the pram. A small weighted ball keeps the end of the tube at the bottom of the bottle, so baby can drink down to the last drop even when the bottle is tilted.
Like any hands-free bottle, it must always be used under your supervision, with baby awake and in a semi-upright position.
Use 2: the classic bottle
Remove the tube and screw on the standard teat: you have a classic bottle again, for the moments when you feed baby in your arms. Handy to avoid multiplying bottles when baby's routine changes.
Use 3: the milk storage bottle
With its sealing disc, the bottle becomes a container to store expressed breast milk or carry water. For storage times and conditions, follow the advice of your midwife or paediatrician.
How to care for it
- Take all parts apart and wash them before first use, then after each feed.
- Use the cleaning brush provided to clean the inside of the tube.
- Let all parts air-dry before putting them back together.
- Replace the teat and tube at the first sign of wear.
